Extreme 16148 Summit X450e-48p Switch

The Extreme 16148 Switch belongs to the Summit X450e family, which features Extreme's very own operating systems, ExtremeXOS. Intelligently designed, this switch provides manageability, operational efficiency, and constant uptime. The Summit X450e-48P contains 48 PoE ports with 4 unfilled 1000BASE-X SFP ports and 2 SummitStack ports. There is also a connector where you can plug in the external power system chassis.

This switch is capable of routing traffic over IPv4 and IPv6. In addition, the stacking ports included in this model will run at a dedicated 40 GBPS. For further technical details, I recommend visiting Extreme Networks for whitepapers, or you can call Vology at 1-800-998-9862 and speak to any of our Extreme certified representatives. I know reading about products may not be the most exciting, but there are those who do find it insightful, that they have the choice to save money on the equipment and support through a reputable reseller.
